First-term payment 33%

• CP = (1/580 * N * APE) * 12.5 * 25%
• CP installment payment (lump sum payment).
• N is the number of years of service of the pensioner.
• APE stands for average pension amount.
• This Formula uses 33 percent of the average pension amount.

Second Term payment is 66%

• MC = (1/580 * N * APE) * 75% * 1/12
• MC second Term payment (malipo ya kila mwezi).
• N is the number of years of service of the pensioner
• APE stands for average pension amount
• This forum uses 75 percent of the average pension amount to be paid monthly

According to the changes, the initial payment (lump sum payment) has increased from 25 percent to 33 percent, while the monthly payment has decreased from 75 percent to 67 percent. The total pension payment (initial payment + monthly payment) is still it is 100 percent, as it was before.
