Try one of the following solutions to fix the issue with your Foxtel where you can't pause
check if the hard drive is properly connected to your IQ box: In most cases, you will not be able to pause on your Foxtel due to an improper connection between the hard drive and the box. If everything is connected and you still receive the same error message, then proceed with the following steps.
Reboot your IQ Box: whether you use an iq4 or iq5 you'll need to reboot it just turn it off wait for a few minutes and turn it back on, this can help reset the system to its initial state, clearing temporary glitches or conflicts that may have occurred during operation.
Replace your HDD (Hard drive): If you have tried everything we have suggested but nothing has worked, then this might indicate a hard drive failure, and you'll need to replace it with a new one. However, what I appreciate about Foxtel is that you can contact them to send a replacement box instead of waiting for a technician. When my friend's hard drive broke, they called Foxtel, and after performing all the necessary checks, Foxtel sent them a new one at no cost. It was an easy process.
