Mogodu Recipes
- step 1: Wash raw Mogodu with clean water at least 3 times to make sure it is clean
- step 2: After cleaning it leave it in vinegar for 15 mins
- step 3: Remove it and place it in a clean cooking pot filled halfway with water.
- step 4: Add 2 cups of chicken stock
- step 5: Add about 1 thumb-size ginger, 1 bay leaf, and a few crushed garlic
- step 6: Add salt
- step 7: Boil for about 3 to 4 hours until the mogodu is very soft
- step 8: Add onion, green, and red peppers (optional)
- step 9: stir the mixture
- step 10: Add chopped tomatoes, black pepper
- step 11: Add some water
- step12: Cook for extract 10 to 15 minutes
Serve the food and enjoy You can eat with pap/dumpling/ samp or bread just anything you would like.
The purpose of adding vinegar is to clean the mogodu since vinegar helps remove stains, grease, and odors from various surfaces also vinegar can also act as a disinfectant, killing some types of bacteria and viruses that may be present on the food.
