How to get JAMB profile code using SMS and USSD code

SMS method

For JAMB UTME Candidates: If your NIN is 00123456789, type the word "NIN 00123456789" and send it as an SMS to 55019. Following this, a 10-character Profile Code will be received by the candidate on the same telephone number.

For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: For example, if your NIN is 00123456789, type "NIN 00123456789" and send it as an SMS to 66019. Subsequently, a 10-character Profile Code will be sent to your unique telephone number.

Please ensure a single space gap between the word "NIN" and the NIN number (00123456789).

make sure the SIM card you're using for this operation has credit because you'll be debited N50.

This works in all Nigeria telecom companies including MTN Nigeria Airtel Nigeria (formerly known as Celtel and Zain) Globacom (Glo) and 9mobile 

Via USSD Method

• To get your Jamb profile code, also known as 10 digit account code, using the USSD Method,  all you need to do is send *55019*1*NIN#
• Make sure you replace the NIN with your 11-digit NIN number
• You'll be sent an SMS containing ur Jamb Profile Code

How to retrieve the JAMB profile code

If you're a second or third-time JAMB candidate and you want to retrieve your profile code because JAMB won't send you another one, it's very easy. Just follow the steps below:

• Go to your messaging app on ur Android phone or Apple device
•  Enter RESEND in the message box and send to 55019 or 66019
•  Make sure you're using the sim card you used while generating the code the first time

Also, make sure the SIM card you're using for this operation has credit because you'll be debited N50
