The tuition fee for studying these programs is MK350,000 per academic year.
In this program, applicants must choose one combination of two subjects which will be their teaching subjects from the following:

Applicants for combinations (i), (ii) and (iii) must have six credits which must include credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, and Physics/Chemistry/Physical Science.
Applicants for studying Mathematics and computer science teaching must have six credits which must include credits in English, Mathematics, and Physics/Physical Science. Those who studied Computer Studies will have an added advantage.
Applicants for studying combinations (Mathematics, Agriculture) and (Biology and Agriculture) must have a minimum of six credits which must include at least credits in English, Mathematics, Agriculture, and Biology.
Applicants for studying a combination of mathematics and Human Ecology and Biology and Human Ecology must have a minimum of six credits which must include credits in English, Mathematics, Chemistry/Physical Science, and Biology. Those who studied Home Economics will have an added advantage.
Applicants for studying combination (Agriculture and Human Ecology) must have a minimum of six credits which must include at least credits in English, Mathematics, Agriculture, and Chemistry/Physical Science. Those who studied Home Economics will have an added advantage.
OR
(a) At A-level, the candidate should have at least a grade C in each of the two teaching subjects they are applying for,
(b) At O-level Candidates must have at least a grade C in English and Mathematics.
In this program, only English Linguistics and African Languages will be offered. As such, applicants must have credits in Chichewa and English and any other four (4) subjects.
