The schedule has been divided into five groups: Groups A, B, C, D, and E. Electricity will be cut off for 8 hours daily. This is due to dwindling water levels, which directly affect power generation capacity, as explained by ZESCO Managing Director, Victor Mapani.
By doing so this enhances predictability, fairness, and resource management, ultimately helping to minimize the impact of power shortages on individuals, businesses, and the environment.
