How to check Form 4 placement 2024 Botswana

Information on all student placements will be available in all Secondary Schools and Regional Education Offices countrywide.

The Ministry has introduced a Short Messaging Services [SMS] which you can use to check form 4 placement accessible from all the three local mobile network service providers.

To access placement via SMS, students are advised to compose the message as follows:

• Step 1:- write Form4 (space) Candidate Number (space) Candidate Surname, e.g. Form4  JC0101 005 Malepa
• Step 2: Send your message to this number 16688
• Step 3: You will then receive information about your placement

Please note that the criterion used for placement was based on catchment areas and the need to balance school enrolments. Therefore, all students' transfers will be done at the School and Regional levels.
