WHAT IS A TPIN?

Taxpayer Identification Number (TPIN) is a unique ten-digit computer-generated number allocated to a taxpayer upon registration with the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA). It is a prerequisite for any transaction with ZRA concerning taxes be it Domestic Taxes or Customs Services. All bank account holders are also required to obtain a TPIN.

DO I NEED TO PAY FOR A TPIN REGISTRATION?

TPIN registration is free. ZRA does not charge for your TPIN registration.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR A TPIN.

This can be done on the TaxOnApp App or by dialing *858# on your phone to register using the TaxOnPhone.
